Top Rated Elite AAU Basketball Program in CT is Thriving!

In June of 2018 Connecticut Elite Basketball, the top rated basketball organization in Connecticut was forced to make some tough decisions.  The Elite Board of Directors came together in early-mid June and decided to go in another direction with staff/gyms, which they believed was best for the program, families, and players in the organization.  The Board united all of the current coaches and brought back former coaches to create the strongest and by far best coaching staff in the state.

Connecticut Elite is loaded with the top coaches that currently coach High School basketball in CT.  Most of the coaches also played College Basketball with most scholarship players.  Some of the coaches are also Connecticut Elite Alumni having played in the Elite organization they stayed loyal to the program and coaches that had their best interest in mind as they were growing up.

In Elite's 18th year and having hosted more than 50 seasons with year round basketball, Elite is again dedicated to creating and supporting the competitive A level college basketball prospect.  Elite has and always will be a Grassroots Program. The mission of the organization is to create programs for players to develop, learn, gain exposure, be successful at the high school and college level and beyond.  The Connecticut Elite President, Directors, and Coaches have directly placed over 250 CT players into college to play basketball with the majority of those players earning scholarships.

With many new organizations popping up with slick advertising and brain washing promises that never come true.  These organizations tell you to sign up with them and they will get them to the next level, but once you pay it's too late. Nothing happens in the end and they just move on to the next family that is willing to spend their money.  It really is a shame that these con-artists exist in youth basketball, but many of them hang around the gym, coach town travel teams, just so they can latch onto kids and convince their parents to play for them.  In time families will wake up and realize there are no results and they wasted their money while being conned.

Connecticut Elite had it's largest fall season ever in 2018 with 12 fall teams including 7 of those high level A teams.  This spring and summer Elite has taken a different approach to selecting players.  Elite will not just accept anyone that walks through the door like other organizations.  Elite will have a few developmental teams in the Bridgeport area, but will also have 30+ A level teams around CT in Trumbull, Bridgeport, Ansonia, Norwalk, and East Hartford.  The DBC Basketball Program and several others have joined with Elite to create the most over powering organization in the state once again!

The Elite Alumni are the real proof!
